Emmaus University fell 80–72 to Central Christian College of the Bible on Saturday afternoon at Pollard Fieldhouse. The Eagles trailed 33–25 at halftime before matching Central Christian point-for-point 47-47 in the second half, but couldn't overcome the early deficit.
Ethan Cox led Emmaus with 15 points, while Lucas Leslie and Josh Stewart each added 11.
Stewart also pulled down seven rebounds, and Eli Mackey chipped in 10 points.
The Eagles shot 37.3 percent from the field and battled on the glass, finishing with 35 rebounds compared to CCCB's 32.
CCCB's head coach did receive a technical foul, but it was not enough to swing the momentum in Emmaus's favor.
Overall, 5 Eagles scored in double figures!
