Emmaus University Eagles dropped a hard-fought road contest at Moody Bible Institute, falling 82–77 on Tuesday night.
The Eagles trailed 35–27 at halftime but surged back with a strong second half, scoring 50 points after the break to keep the game within reach down the stretch.
Nathaniel Wagner led Emmaus with 18 points, adding six rebounds, four assists, and strong defensive activity with 3 steals and 2 blocks.
Colten Dobrodt provided a big lift off the bench with 15 points, while Lucas Leslie chipped in 10 points and four rebounds. Ethan Cox added 10 points and four assists inside.
Unfortunately, the Eagles shot just 3-for-23 from three-point range, but stayed competitive by attacking the paint and getting to the free-throw line, finishing 20-of-28 at the stripe.
