Three PR's Broken at Seminole Valley Stampede
The Emmaus University men's and women's cross country teams turned in strong performances on Saturday at the Seminole Valley Stampede, hosted by Mount Mercy University. Facing deep competition across all divisions, both Eagle squads showed continued progress in their seasons, resulting in three PR's.
The men ran first, with Nathan Bean showing great improvement, breaking his previous PR by over a minute, finishing in 31:19.6. Christian Vanderkrol was also able to break his PR by about 20 seconds crossing the line in 30:42.4. Caleb Ness (31:18.6), Daniel Schuldt (34:46.3), and Isaac Sauer (35:09.6) rounded out the men's side. For the women's 6K race, Riley Rath also broke her previous PR, finishing in 29:55.6. Anna Coniglio finished with a time of 26:47.5.
The Eagles next host the NCCAA Super Regional on October 24th at the Dubuque Soccer Complex.
