Eagle Volleyball Announces 2025 Schedule
The Emmaus University Women's Volleyball team is excited to announce its 2025 season schedule. In 2024, the Eagles posted an impressive 18–8 overall record and a 7–1 conference finish, reaching as high as No. 8 in the national rankings. The upcoming season features several exciting matchups, including regional NAIA opponents and three NCCAA national championship contenders from last year. The Eagles will return many key players, along with some exciting new additions to the roster.
The Eagles will kick off the season with a home scrimmage against Clarke JV on Tuesday, August 19 at 7 p.m. Official match play begins at the Ripon Classic in Ripon, Wisconsin on August 29–30, where the team will face four opponents over two days.
September heats up with a busy home slate, beginning with a tri-match on September 6 featuring Spurgeon College and Moody Bible Institute. The Eagles will then head just a few blocks across town to take on Clarke University on September 9, followed by a series of key conference matchups. Later in the month, they'll travel to Illinois to face Olivet Nazarene, before returning home for a highly anticipated homecoming match against regional rival Maranatha Baptist.
October marks the heart of conference play, featuring 11 matchups—including road trips to Missouri to face Ozark Christian and Calvary University. The Eagles will also host their second tri-match of the season on October 17, welcoming region foe Grace Christian and conference opponent Calvary to Dubuque.
The regular season wraps up with a trip to Missouri to take on Hannibal-LaGrange and Central Christian, followed by a final home match against Judson. Postseason play begins with the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament in Joplin, Missouri from October 31–November 1, followed by the NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournament in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 7–8.
Head Coach Hannah Richter shared her thoughts on the upcoming schedule:
"This season and schedule will bring different strengths as well as different challenges for us! We will no longer be a team of primarily underclassmen, and our schedule is built tough to challenge us both spiritually and physically to grow as a team. We are excited to see what the season brings as we continue our goal to be a program of excellence that is Christ-centered, committed, and competitive!"
