Eagles Fall To Pensacola in Game 2 of Nationals Pool Play
PCC simply too much for Eagles

Emmaus University battled through three competitive sets but ultimately came up short against Pensacola Christian College, falling 3–0 (14–25, 19–25, 24–26) in NCCAA Division II Championship pool play Thursday morning.
After struggling to find rhythm offensively in the opening frames, Emmaus put together its strongest performance in the third set, pushing the Eagles of PCC to the brink at 24–26. Strong defensive effort and improved side-out play helped Emmaus stay within striking distance throughout the set.
Junior outside Kaitlin Rahn paced the Emmaus attack with 8 kills, hitting .250 on 20 attempts while also contributing 12 digs. Junior outside Selah Gregory added 7 kills and 3 block assists, while Alice Green provided another efficient performance with 5 kills on just 10 swings (.400).
Setter Michelle Striley ran the offense with 25 assists while adding 11 digs. Middle blocker Brooke Hodges chipped in 2 kills, 5 block assists, and Emmaus' lone service ace.
Libero Jennika Beach anchored the backcourt with a match-high 12 digs, continuing her strong tournament performance. Rahn, Gregory, and Beach each reached double digits in digs, helping Emmaus stay competitive.
