On the Final day of Pool Play Games at about 10:30 PM, the Emmaus University Eagles won the fourth and final set over the Alice Lloyd Eagles, moving to 1-2 in pool play and creating a 3-way tie in Pool B.
The sets mirrored themselves as they went 25-23, 18-25, 25-18, and 25-23, leading Emmaus to a 3-1 Win.
After splitting the first two sets, the Eagles settled in defensively and found their rhythm on offense, hitting .200 in the third set and .243 in the fourth to secure the win. Emmaus finished with 42 kills, 12 team blocks, and 58 digs.
Selah Gregory led the charge with 13 kills on .440 hitting, adding three block assists for a team-high 14.5 points. Kaitlin Rahn delivered another strong outing with 10 kills, 12 digs, and 4 blocks, while Lindsey McIlveen added 13 kills and three block assists.

The win moves Emmaus on to the tiebreaker round as they continue their push through the national tournament, and hope to extend their season!
Up Next: The Eagles play at 9:30 AM against ALC again in a Tiebreaker Set, and whoever wins will face Arlington Baptist at 10:45 AM in another Tiebreaker Set. The winner of that game will then go on to face Manhattan Christian College at 3:00 PM in the first Semifinal. Simply put, if the Eagles win two sets tomorrow morning, they will move on to the Semifinals. (We plan on releasing recaps after each tiebreaker set/match.)
