Bio

Elisabeth Gerardy enters her fifth season as assistant coach of Emmaus Men's and Women's Cross Country in 2025-26.

Why run for Emmaus Cross Country?

We are looking forward to having our team have a family atmosphere and to help make disciples who reflect Christ both on and off the cross country course.

Why are you coaching at Emmaus?

I am excited to coach at Emmaus because its such an amazing place, in that even in sports we aren’t running for our own glory, but for God. I am looking forward to working with my husband to build this program and work with the athletes at Emmaus.

What is a special Bible passage to you?

Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite bible verses.  This verse reminds me that no matter what is going on in my life that God is ultimately the one in control. I find so much comfort in this verse that my life is not my own and is in his hands.
