I have gone from being someone who only cares about how many points they score to caring about the team as a whole and what my role is on the team.

My mother – she was always pushing me to work hard, giving me constructive criticism (even when I didn’t want to hear it) and always rebounding for me throughout the years. Thanks, mom!
Favorite passage of scripture and why?
Philippians 2:1-18 it reminds me to be humble, selfless and loving, just like Christ when he died on the cross for my sins. I’m also reminded to not complain or argue so that I can be a light for Christ in this world.

News mentions
We have enough talent this year to do something that hasn't been in 20 years but it is up to us on whether or not we want to pursue it. From an eternal perspective, it's not about wins and losses, it's about the relationships you establish with one another. It's about how you use the gifts God has given you to grow closer to him and further the kingdom, for that is eternal. If the Lord grants us success, then we use our platform to preach Christ and show just how powerful unity in Him is in fulfilling His will. If we all buy into this vision, plant our crops and pray for rain, we will do great things this year.
On Friday, February 12, the Lady Eagles took the court against the Lady Saints of Central Christian College. The first quarter was all Emmaus, scoring 24 points and forcing four turnovers.
On Thursday, January 28, the Emmaus Lady Eagles took on the Moody Bible Institute Archers. This game is the second meeting between these two opponents this season, but this time it was on the home court. In the first quarter the Archers came to play and competed back and forth with the Lady Eagles. The game was tied at the end of the first quarter, but Emmaus would rally.
Coming off of two games in the last two days, the Lady Eagles faced the Mount Marry Blue Angels on Saturday, January 30. Despite being tired, the Lady Eagles came out strong and came out of the first quarter leading by 5 points.
Coming off of an away game on Friday night, the Lady Eagles were back in action Saturday, January 16. The Lady Eagles took on the Ozark Ambassadors of Joplin, MO. From the very first few minutes into the game, it looked like the game would turn into a battle that would come down to every possession.
On Friday December 4 our Emmaus Lady Eagles basketball team took on Rhema Bible College of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This game proved to be heavy on the guard play as both Rhema and Emmaus seem to be light in the post position.
On Tuesday night, the Lady Eagles of Emmaus Bible College squared off against conference rivals Faith Baptist in a much anticipated game.
After celebrating a big win, adversity would challenge this young Lady Eagles team.
On Friday, November 13 the Lady Eagles of Emmaus Bible College took on AFLBS of Plymouth, MN. This is the first ACCA conference game for Emmaus and it would give a glimpse into how much the Lady Eagles have improved from the previous season.
The game started off with a score of 10 to 24 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Lady Eagles looked a bit shell-shocked at the beginning, playing tentative and shy as Trinity International struck first.
The second game of the La Quinta Classic found the Lady Eagles matched up against a much bigger Mount Vernon Nazarene team. With six girls around 6’0” (including one being 6’3”) and Hembera out, the post and painted area on the court would be quite the obstacle for Emmaus with a rotation of 6 with no one above 5’8”. But the young and talented Lady Eagles had learned how to fight and it was their heart that lead them through the first half.
The 2015-2016 season began with a good showing by our Lady Eagles Basketball team. With 5 sophomores and 6 freshmen, establishing chemistry and working out the early season kinks was the main priority in the game against the Roadrunners of UW-Richland.
